How to Stop Worrying About Making Enough Money
Napoleon Hill alludes many times in his book to that ‘money making secret that has made fortunes for more than five hundred exceedingly wealthy men’, but it seems that he believed that the readers should discover the secret themselves by studying his book, he seemed to believe readers should be ready to really understand the concept of visualizing goals and plan the action steps needed to produce results.
The movie, The Secret, is all over the internet at present, but although many people who’ve seen the movie talk about manifesting their goals… and putting up pictures and messages they can focus on, I wonder
how many have the lasting conviction to follow through with the
necessary action steps to reach their goal.
Many years ago when my husband read and re-read Napoleon Hill’s
‘Think and Grow Rich’ we had some animated discussions about the
concept of aspiring to make a lot of money, something I treated with
disdain!
I’ve changed my mind about that… I’ve come to believe that
there’s nothing wrong with planning to make money… in
fact the people who are constantly worrying about not having
enough money are probably more obsessed with the darn stuff
than someone who sets goals to make plenty of it!
It’s quite possible to lead an ethical life while planning to succeed in your purpose of becoming rich and living a truly abundant life. It’s a
matter of balance, the father or mother who are concentrating on
their goals of becoming successful with their business are just as
capable of making enough time for their children as the parents
who are at the mercy of low income or even middle income jobs
with little control over their life.
You might very well have had some experience in different forms of doing business or be an expert in some kind of work and still feel like a beginner when getting acquainted with online marketing until you start to get answers to your questions.

You hit the nail right on the head with this post! As a divorcee (and not so young anymore) without a regular paycheck at the end of the month, I guess I am also constantly worrying about money and am obsessed with finding ways and means to get enough but in the process I tend to lose my goal of concentrating on building my business and becoming successful in my online ventures.
We have so many good intentions but it is also so easy to get distracted by every day living and then making excuses for not doing the things we know we have to do! And when it comes to Internet Marketing, there are always so much to read in our quest to find the one answer to our problems that we forget that it is exactly this "easy access" that can keep us from working.
Thanks for reminding me to set a goal and working towards it.
I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts Elsie… You are right, there is so much to think about and we don’t always know what to do first or what action we take might bring results…
Many times we buy another report or ebook that seems to offer some answers and actually there comes a point where more knowledge is not what we need, we really need a roadmap with precise action steps.

I never get tired of learning so for more than two years I was buying a lot of stuff and learning all I could about internet marketing – I never would have stopped doing that if I did not need to make some money!

Yes, Jackie Lee is really amazing! I have been following and subscribing to hundreds of internet marketers' e-mails and courses during the past 5 years (luckily I did not spend money because I found ways and means to get them for free – but just imagine how much time I wasted in my pursuit of these free information!) and I can still not believe that she is answering practically every comment on her blog and even replying to private e-mails.
Where does she find the time to do all this:? Just goes to show, when you set your mind to something, you CAN do it.
It is like my friend in Germany always say " we don't get older, we only get better!!!" so wishing you luck in all you do here and I know your visitors will find good advice from you because Boomers can just because we can!!!
